CLASSES:
Learn about my adult natural history and birding classes, noting:
Current and past community college and Audubon chapter adult classes include my recent September, 2023: Golden Gate Bird Alliance (formerly Golden Gate Audubon) Migrants and Vagrants at Outer Point Reyes (National Seashore) class and field trip
and teaching recent diverse community college classes: “Fundamentals Of Ornithology,” “Waterbirds of the SF Bay Area,” “Raptors of the San Francisco Bay Area” and “Bird Song Ecology and Identifying Birds By Ear.”
In addition, I annually lead tours for the Point Reyes Birding Festival (13 consecutive years as a guide since this festival began) and d) Conduct annual bird surveys for the Point Blue Conservation Science Shorebird Survey.…the Breeding Bird Survey (24 years of surveys for the US Geological Survey) ….and two annual Christmas bird counts in Marin County, CA…as well as volunteering in the past as a co-leader on field trips for the annual Wisconsin Society For Ornithology conference that I attend annually (and will do again in 2024 at the Two Rivers, WI conference) and the Central Valley Birding Symposium that I am attending in 2023.
